The newest member of the NWA comes from the fine state of Michigan. Announced June 22nd, the NWA NORTHERN CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING is bringing professional wrestling to a whole new level in the Great Lakes state of Michigan. We will begin taping soon for our television debut this Fall. During the next few months we will be booking talent to crown the first-ever NWA NORTHERN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION and NWA NORTHERN TELEVISION CHAMPION. On September 26, 2009, NWA New Jersey is proud to present the 2009 Dennis Coralluzzo Invitational. This event will take place at the PAL, located in Wayne, NJ.

Unfortunately I never knew much about Dennis Coralluzzo, but I've heard he was quite the character. If it wasn't for guys like Corralluzzo, there might have not been an NWA in 2009. I think its a great honor and I hope that it becomes a regular event for the NWA. Al Snow wrestled a handful of matches for the Alliance earlier this year. And bringing in the son of Afa, Indy up and comer Kenny Omega, and former ROH stand out Dan Maff, this card is already shaping up.

It is too bad to hear that Danny Inferno retired before this show as he was one of Coralluzzo's guy. I'm also excited to hear may be listed next to appear. NWA On Fire wrestlers like Apolo or Rick Fuller? Perhaps Judas Young from NWA Force One.

NWA Southwest reveals big announcement for August 1st. NWA Wrestling Spectacular ROAD SHOW

NWA Southwest will be in action August 1st at Whitesboro High School Gym in Whitesboro, Texas. This show is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Whitesboro to benefit their Scholarship Program.

Appearing on the Show will be Kevin Northcutt, Spoiler 2000, Jaykus Plisken, Chaz Taylor, Austin Rhodes, Gabe The Babe, Prince Al Farat, Wally Darkmon, Baboose "The Witch Doctor",

Six All-Star Wrestling Bouts Scheduled For Edinburg Stadium

Paradise Pro Wrestling in association with NWA (National Wrestling Alliance) Southwest proudly present Lucha Americana - The Homecoming, an all-star wrestling event on Saturday, June 27th with an 8:00 p.m. bell time at Edinburg Stadium in Edinburg, Texas.

The event is headlined by a match featuring Mission, TX’s own & WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Famer Tito Santana. Santana will square of against TNA (Total Non-Stop Action) Wrestling’s Sheik Abdul Bashir.

Also scheduled for the June 27th wrestling event will be a ladies tag team elimination bout featuring four of the top female stars from both the United States & Mexico.

Ticket prices for the event are $20 reserved, $15 general admission, $5 children under 12-years-old and $5 for University of Texas PanAm students. Further ticket information is available by calling (956) 225-0519.

NWA Pro Wrestling Revolution in Bakersfiled

Pro Wrestling Revolution makes its debut in Bakersfield at the Bakersfield Dome. This maybe our debut in the area but we are very familiar as we have had a presence in the area before. This time around we come to you with a flurry of media taking part, from television, radio and print and we hope we can make a difference.

The Dome has had wrestling and lucha libre in the past, but we feel we are bringing you something that brings a quality product, from behind the curtain to the ticket takers, don’t let past the rocky past fool you.

The line up we have set is strong but with out knowing what is taking place the day before in Santa Maria, we can only assume tempers will be at a high level before the doors even open at the Dome in Bakersfield. One thing is for sure, the feuds continue, the action will be top quality and the winners in all of this are the fans. We hope to see old fans and make new ones as we attempt to make Bakersfield and the Dome a new home for Pro Wrestling Revolution.

NWA Australia's EPW Perth presents Hell or Highwater

At EVOLUTION, Bobby Marshall made a triumphant return from injury by overcoming the 'Mad Bastard' Krackerjak in a Hardcore Match. Now at HELL OR HIGHWATER, Marshall will get his chance to win back the EPW championship that he never lost.

Marshall won the EPW championship earlier this year only to be viciously assaulted by Richter which resulted in him being stripped of the gold without ever having a chance to defend the belt that he had worked so hard to regain. At Hell or Highwater, Marshall not only gets his chance for revenge. He will also get a chance at redemption.

This bout will main event the 8th Annual Hell or Highwater which will take place at the Venville Centre in Maylands on the 11th of July. Tickets are on sale now. More huge matches will be announced this week on epwperth.com which will include a match where you, the wonderful fans of EPW will have the chance to pick the stipulation in a grudge match between two EPW wrestlers who are looking to settle their issue once and for all. El Phantasmo Wins The Pacific Cup!

After a wild and unpredictable tournament full of surprises and upsets, El Phantasmo emerged as the 2009 Pacific Cup champion, defeating Azeem The Dream and the returning Rick The Weapon X in the three-way tournament final! The roads of all three men into the final of the 9th annual battle of the top junior heavyweights was varied between all three, with all roads leading to the final.

Phantasmo started his road to the Pacific Cup tournament final with a decisive victory over Alberta's "Superfly" Dan Myers, outsmarting the "Superfly" by feinting a frog splash, then leaping even further than before to splatter Myers with the frog splash for the victory! Phantasmo's opponent in round two was supposed to be Artemis Spencer, who made short work of former SuperGirls champion Nicole Matthews; however, in the course of the victory, Nicole's own prediction for Spencer also came true, as the NWA Canadian junior heavyweight champion suffered an injury to his left knee and could not continue past the first round. Over the shrieking protests of The Divine Prophet, Spencer was replaced by designated alternate Nick Price, who gave Phantasmo all he could handle in a fantastic contest, before Phantasmo caught him in an anklelock for the submission to get into the Pacific Cup final for the second straight year!

Santa Maria has had its share of big shows from Pro Wrestling Revolution, but this show has it the maximum it can take. We started at Santa Maria High School, headed over to Orchid and now we are taking it to the Santa Maria Fair Park, where all the major events take place. The fans have come to know exactly who we are and what we have to offer. We bring you to Santa Maria… Lucha Mania!

The feud with the Border Patrol team of Zach Reeb & Derek Sanders and El Hijo de Rey Misterio has come to a head and this show will decide and fill the vacancy of the Pro Wrestling Revolution tag titles.

This brings us to the match up of two people, athletes, wrestlers, who flat out do not like each other and nothing seems to be able to get them to move past their differences. Pro Wrestling Revolution Heavyweight Champion and NWA World Heavyweight Champion Blue Demon Jr. will face off, again… and this time in a cage match. Nobody knows what can happen and what will take place, and we can only hope that this will solve their issues.

A New DISPUTED NWA World Champion?!?!

This past Saturday while some were enjoying picnics or baseball games the crowd in Northern California were shocked and awed when Dual-Champion "Old School" Oliver John pinned Blue Demon Jr. Demon known for using the RED Leather and Gold championship for media events was pinned. Only the Demon in question was a fraud. In a move that was a throwback to Sid Vicious pinning a mock Sting, Oliver John's opponent was said to be a stooge. Blue Demon Jr. did appear later in the show with the Legendary 10lbs. of Gold. Demon did win the match that was considered a non-title match. How this plays out is anyone's guess, but in the words of Oliver John, "I am a Triple Champion and thats all there is to it!"

Former NWA Champion heads to Michinoku Pro

Exciting news from former NWA Heritage Champion. After appearing on numerous Showcase Episodes defending the prestigious championship and losing the title to Old School Oliver John, Ryan Taylor will be heading to Japanese wrestling promotion Michinoku Pro/Kaientai Dojo. During a recent interview, Taylor said "... I'll be going to Japan for 3 months to train and wrestle for Michinoku Pro... I'll see you all when I get back in September." If you will remember, Taylor was the man who took the NWA Heritage Championship off of TJ Perkins. Taylor has also made appearances for the WWE as noted in the article. Taylor has competed for NWA Pro's family of promotions in Arizona (IZW) and in California (EWF, AWS, and PWR). Durning Taylor's time in SoCal he won the EWF American Championship as well.

NWA Charlotte's Summer Vacation

NWA Charlotte is taking June and July off to:

1. Let Developer Brady Parker and his team re-build the newer and better set, stage, and interior for NWA Coliseum. The plans for the new permanent set and stage include more lights, more effects, more depth for the ramp and stage, and larger surface areas for wrestling action.

2. Embark on a 2-month swing through various promotions across the country to search for new talent and faces to mix into the NWA Charlotte roster.

Our first shows back will be Friday, August 7th and Saturday, August 8th! These two shows will be a real wrestling experience, including new professional wrestling superstars, NWA Charlotte superstars, Ring of Honor superstars, TNA superstars, Mid-Atlantic Legends and, as always, some big surprise guests!

We want you to enjoy the summer!. So many of you have indicated that you are taking big trips, building additions to your homes, spending time with your families at the lake, camping, going on Mission trips, and spending time at the pool!

Plus, our new website (finally!) will be completed and posted this summer so you can order your seats online, join Chat Rooms, interact with the NWA Charlotte superstars, and play games!

NWA Pro's EWF: Music Video Feud of Brandon Gatson and Mikey Nichols

Slow news day. SoCalWatts63 as far as I know is a great fan who makes very good wrestling videos. I've put some of his videos up here in the past. The guy's videos are awesome and I suggestion you check 'em out. I plan to put a few of his NWA related videos up on the board. This video was from late last year. Gatson and Nichols had bad blood and this video shows you why.
