NWA TRYOUTS RETURN THIS SATURDAY!

By popular demand, the NWA Try-outs return to the new NWA Coliseum @ Metrolina Expo this Saturday, May 30 from 3-5pm. Training Seminar with ROH World Champion Jerry Lynn

NWA Dynamo Pro Wrestling returns to Ottawa, Kansas on May 23rd with a World Champion in tow. One of the hardest working men in professional wrestling today, Jerry Lynn. Lynn is the current ROH kingpin when he became the Ring of Honor Champion after defeating Nigel McGuinness on April 3, 2009 at the ROH Supercard of Honor IV in a spectacular match.

If you are an inspiring wrestler looking to train with one of the most respected me in the industry NWA Dynamo Pro Gym has a golden opportunity for you. Jerry Lynn and Dynamo Pro Gym will be conducting two training seminars, one of Friday in St Louis on May 22 at the Dynamo Pro Gym from 6-8pm. The very next day they will travel to Ottawa Kansas with the seminar going from 2-4pm. The cost is only $50.00 per person to train with the current ROH World Heavyweight Champion.

Jerry Lynn has wrestled and held championship titles with WWE, ECW, and TNA and of course now Ring of Honor. If you are serious of getting to the next level in your game, I highly urge you take NWA Dynamo Pro gym up on their offer and work with the man who knows not only what it takes to get to the top of the sport but has been able to flourish in an era where wrestlers come and go in a blink of an eye.

Jerry Lynn was one of wrestling’s best kept secrets for several years. Making a name for himself on the independent circuit on the way to working with some of the most exciting wrestlers in the sport from Sean Waltman, Rob Van Dam, AJ Styles, Sabu to Jeff Hardy.

Kansas wrestling fans will have a chance to see Jerry Lynn live in person that evening along with some hot wrestling action. A great show where proceeds to the event will go towards the Franklin County Shiners. Tickets are only $8.00 in advance and Kids under 12 are $5.00.

Inoki Dojo Video, circa 2004

Not a lot of NWA news going on lately, so I've been providing some video content up here. Here's a music video I made a few years back. See how many NWA names you can recognize.

I see NWA Pro's Tommy Wilson, OVW's Rudy Switchblade, NWA Showcase star Joey Ryan, and a few others you might not know.

NWA celebrates 2nd year without TNA

Earlier this week the NWA celebrated its 2nd Year being TNA free. Since then they've continued to grow adding strong membership in Europe, Mexico, with new membership in California, Texas, and North Carolina. The NWA has also brought forth the NWA Showcase to feature its up and coming talent. Something TNA never did provide.

NWA Update, by David Marquez.

So, things around the Big Vision/NWA production office seem to be getting back on track. Over the last few months there's been several situations that didn't allow us the time to produce the amount of video I wish we could. Well, not things are bit back to normal and we'll be getting back to the grind and hopefully we'll stay on task. Also, we should have new news on TV distribution (additional to Colours) for the Showcase that should allow more viewers to have better access.

Another bit of news is the NWA Board has asked us to highlight more NWA area talent and we agreed that we need to do that, so over this Summer we'll be sending our cameras out to events all over the country or show footage from other NWA area TV programming, so you all get the real "flavor" of the National Wrestling Alliance.

"The Best of Blue Demon, Jr." had done really well since its release last week. At the moment its only avail exclusively at Hastings Stores and the Big Vision website (www.bvdvd.com). We only ran enough to meet Hastings order, so I guess this is a limited release, so I'd get your copy now. With the success of the title, we're working on others including what was the original "Reclaiming the Glory" set. A lot has happened in the last few years and we felt that waiting would allow for a better release; I think we made the right decision.

Anyhow, we're all here at the office on a Saturday turning out video. At the moment, I'm editing the Phillips Arena event from last Summer. I have to seen the footage since we shot it, I'm so happy with what we produced that day.

I won't bore you all with anything else, gotta go back under the lights and shoot some segments that should be online this week. The episodes that are missing should be up by mid week too.

As always thanks for you passion for the NWA and loyalty.

David

NWA Charlotte presents "Total Compliance"

NWA Charlotte

Is the best show title I've seen in a long time NWA Charlotte is seemingly compliant. And is set to debut even more fresh faces for the Charlotte based promotion. Talent from Fusion Pro Wrestling will be cashing in their partnership with the NWA when The Sheik, Christopher Gray, and Tommy Taylor debut in the Coliseum. The boys at Charlotte are proclaiming this show to be a two day event, in a one night show. The card is said to be featuring TNA and ROH stars. Surprisingly enough, no Reid Flair.

A New NWA North American Heavyweight Champion

The son of the Million Dollar man had held the North American Championship for well over a year. Mike DiBiase had defeated Damien Wayne to capture the championship in North Carolina. And with defenses in California, Texas, Georgia, and Colorado, it was surprising to hear that Mike DiBiase was defeated by El Gran Apolo this weekend in Tyler Texas. I'm not sure where that puts DiBiase as in his pursuit of the Worlds Heavyweight Championship, but certainly that means Aolo's stock is rising. A famous heavyweight champion in his home Puerto Rico, Apolo has held the NWA World Tag Team titles with D'Lo Brow. Apolo also is currently the reigning NWA On Fire Heavyweight Champion, beating former champ, Danny Inferno.
